Shalaw and Darbaz Kosrat Rasul Cast Votes, Urge Citizens to Elect True Representatives

Shalaw Kosrat Rasul and Darbaz Kosrat Rasul participated in the voting process in Erbil on Tuesday, calling on citizens to take part in the elections and choose representatives capable of defending their rights in Baghdad.

Shalaw Kosrat Rasul: Ensuring Equal Services in Erbil

Shalaw Kosrat Rasul voted as the first voter at one of the polling stations in Erbil, describing the day as historic. “The people of the Kurdistan Region and Iraq should go to the polls to vote for their preferred list,” he said.

He emphasised that in recent years, the list has demonstrated its ability to implement serious and radical changes. “As the PUK, we remain committed to our message. With the support of the people of Kurdistan and Erbil, we will work every day to take back Erbil and eliminate discrimination. Service provision in poor neighbourhoods has been limited, and we will not allow this inequality to continue,” he added.

Darbaz Kosrat Rasul: PUK Representatives to Defend People’s Rights

Following his vote, Darbaz Kosrat Rasul highlighted the importance of participation in the elections as both a duty and a right. “I call on the people of Erbil to vote for the party they consider their true representative. This election is decisive,” he said.

He added: “In the next four years, we will reclaim the deprived rights of the people. The representatives of the PUK will become the true defenders of the rights of the people.”

Darbaz Rasul also underlined the PUK’s history of sovereignty, noting that the party has consistently emerged stronger through past challenges.
