This media platform publishes official news as well as
the perspective of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK). By relying on
sources, honesty, trust, and respect for its readers, it executes media works
and produces reports, news, and other genres with the finest professionalism.
●On January 22, 2003, the PUKMEDIA website was launched in Kurdish and Arabic by the decision of the PUK Media Bureau.
●PUKMEDIA is currently in its new season. It is available in English, Arabic, Kurdish, Sorani, and Kurmanji, and acts as the PUK's official and trustworthy source of news and positions.
●Soon after its founding, PUKMEDIA established itself as a trustworthy source for information on the events that followed the liberation of Iraq. PUKMEDIA employed a team of professional journalists and served as the foundation for all Arab and foreign agencies.
●PUKMEDIA expanded in 2005, and the website now offers content in Kurdish, Arabic, English, Persian, Turkish, and Kurmanji Kurdish (written in Latin script).
●Initially, PUKMEDIA expanded its operations by sending reporters to Kurdistan, Baghdad, Tehran, Germany, Norway, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Syria, Canada, Egypt, the UK, Turkey, and Ukraine. The website hired more than 150 reporters to provide readers with information.
