Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani
Qubad Talabani, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, publicly shared a project titled "transparency" that publishes the income from every department in Sulaymaniyah.
This is the first project of its kind after 30 years of administration where the public and media can access the revenue source.
They "have nothing to fear or hide," stated the Deputy Prime Minister.
The figures and information you requireIt has been a week since several posters with written advertisements have been shared on the streets of Sulaymaniyah. (You should know about them too.) You can now obtain transparent information and data from this website (https://www.shafafiat.com).
Within 24 to 48 hours, Shafafiat published the data from the treasuries of December 15, 2022.
The website reports that the total revenue of the six treasuries as of December 15, 2022, is 2 billion, 582 million, 431 thousand, and 558 dinars, as follows:
Treasury Two: 1 billion dinars.
Treasury One: 822 million dinars
Garmian Treasury: 75 million dinars
Raperin Treasury: 34 million dinars
Chamchamal Treasury: 23 million dinars
Halabja Treasury: 4 million dinars
Data and information on Shafafiat are kept currentIn his video message, Qubad Talabani stated: "Our plans and projects do not stop here."
"With the same team and with the assistance of the Minister of Finance, we have started the second step of our project and will publish all the expenditures of Sulaymaniyah with the utmost transparency, so that Kurdistan's citizens can compare the numbers and learn the facts."
Qubad Talabani also hopes for the implementation of this project across the whole of Kurdistan.
