PUK President, Iraqi PM: Cornerstone for Overcoming Obstacles Should Be Applicable Laws

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with Mohammed Shia’ al-Sudani in Baghdad.

The meeting discussed the latest political, economic, and security developments and issues with a national dimension and emphasised the success of efforts to implement the reform and service programme.

During the meeting, both sides reiterated that the best course of action for resolving the difficulties was to maintain a constructive dialogue based on the Constitution and a true partnership. They also advocated for the applicable laws to be the cornerstone for overcoming obstacles and advancing the interests of the general public and national stability.

Moreover, both sides reiterated their commitment to carrying out reform programmes and offering services to all without discrimination.
