PUK President, ISCI President Rejected Any Attempt to Draw Iraq Into Regional Conflicts

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met in Baghdad with Humam Hamoudi, President of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq (ISCI).

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the latest dangerous developments in the region and expressed deep concern over the ongoing war and confrontations.

Both parties rejected any attempt to draw Iraq into regional conflicts and stressed the importance of utilising all diplomatic avenues to preserve the country’s stability.
