PUK President Emphasizes Importance of Maintaining National Efforts to Overcome Barriers

President Bafel Jalal Talabani meets U.S. Ambassador

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with Alina Romanowski, U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, at the PUK Political Bureau headquarters in Erbil.

Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, the head of the PUK Relations Bureau, was in attendance at the meeting, which discussed the political situation in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the Middle East, with an emphasis on the need for continued national efforts to overcome obstacles and challenges. 

President Bafel gave a brief overview of the PUK's policies and plans during the meeting, saying that constructive dialogue and cooperation between all political parties and forces are essential to preserving the nation's stability and constructing a better future.

"Everyone should take responsible action in handling the issue and strive toward the prosperity and welfare of the nation as a whole. We must maintain genuine collaboration, harmony, and cohabitation to accomplish these lofty goals," he added.
