USAID and WHO provide medical supplies to Slemani to confront Cholera

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) announced the dispatch of medical aid to Slemani Governorate to confront cholera.
In a statement on Monday, USAID announced that in cooperation with the World Health Organization, it has sent an urgent shipment of medical supplies to Slemani Governorate to support the KRG's Ministry of Health in its response to the sudden cholera outbreak.
According to the statement, the shipment consists of "4 pallets of medical supplies, including intravenous kits, antibiotics and intravenous fluids (Ringer's solution) to cover the needs of nearly 5,000 people for 3 months.
