Rewaz Fayeq affirm support for Kurdistan Genocide Writers Union

On Monday, Dr. Rewaz Faeq, Speaker of Kurdistan Parliament, received Salar Mahmoud, head of the Kurdistan Genocide Writers Union, and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of coordination between the Union, Parliament, the Kurdistan Regional Government, and academic centers with the aim of supporting the genocide file and participating in international conferences to publicize the genocide in Kurdistan, and document those crimes in educational centers.

The delegation explained that the visit comes to introduce the Union's visit comes to introduce a draft law to work by its articles.

For her part, Dr. Rewaz Fayeq affirmed her support for the project, explaining that submitting any legal project needs the signatures of Kurdistan Parliament members, wishing the special committees of the parliament would welcome the project to include it on the agenda of Kurdistan Parliament sessions.
