Bafel Talabani receives chief, dignitaries of Mirawdali Tribe

On Tuesday, Bafel Talabani, the Co-President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, received in Dabashan, the chief and the dignitaries of the Mirawdali Tribe.

During the meeting attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Qubad Talabani, the Co-President talked about the latest developments and changes and assured that all the steps taken were for the public benefit and that they will continue their efforts to maintain stability in the region, saying, "we will prevent any attempt to overcome stability in the region."

"The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan will restore its strength and will meet the expectations of its members in particular and the people of Kurdistan in general, and you will see the good results of our efforts in the future," the Co-President added. 

At the end of the meeting, Bafal Talabani praised the important and historical role of the Mirawdali Tribe, and told them, "you have a brave attitude, you have always been supportive of PUK, and this is what we expect from you."
