PUK Leadership Council Discusses Steps to Form Regional and Federal Governments

The Leadership Council of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) met on Saturday, 14 February 2026, in Sulaymaniyah.
The council convened under the chairmanship of PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani.
The meeting addressed the latest political developments and reviewed the necessary steps towards the formation of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the federal government of Iraq.
