Kurdistan Region President Attends Munich Security Conference

Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani is participating in the 62nd Munich Security Conference (MSC).

On the sidelines of the conference, President Barzani is expected to hold a series of meetings with senior leaders and officials to discuss the political and security situation in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, as well as broader regional and international developments.

The Munich Security Conference, which began on Friday, 13 February, is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading forums on international security policy. Held annually, it brings together heads of state, government officials and policy experts to exchange views on pressing security challenges, global stability and potential solutions to ongoing crises.

The conference is expected to conclude on 15 February.
