President Bafel: Kurdistan Region's Employees Should No Longer be Victims of Political Dispute

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), welcomed James Goldman, British Consul General in the Kurdistan Region. 

Dr. Yousif Goran, Dr. Jwan Ihsan, members of the Political Bureau, and Dara Khaylani, Head of the Relations Board, all attended the meeting. The discussion focused on the ongoing negotiations between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq to resolve political and financial issues, with a particular emphasis on the Region's salaried employees. 

President Bafel discussed the PUK's efforts to resolve the disputes, stating that "everyone must adhere to the Constitution and make it the foundation for addressing problems." Significant progress has been made to ensure that employees in the Region no longer suffer the negative consequences of political disputes."
