Qubad Talabani receives official invitation to visit Qatar

Qubad Talabani and Qatari Foreign Minister.
At the annual Delphi Economic Forum
in Greece, Qubad Talabani, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region,
met with Sultan Saad Al-Muraikhi, the Foreign Minister of Qatar.
In the meeting they discussed how to improve ties between the two nations.
Qubad Talabani underlined the Kurdistan Region's desire to expand connections
in this regard, particularly in the areas of links between Kurdistan
universities and Qatar, as well as sports and trade.
The Deputy Prime Minister was formally invited to visit Qatar by the Foreign
Minister of Qatar to examine ways to improve ties and determine effective ways
to advance these ties in areas of common interest.

Qubad Talabani and Thessaloniki Mayor.
The
Deputy Prime Minister also met with Thessaloniki Mayor Konstantinos Zervas to
discuss the growth of ties between Thessaloniki and the Kurdistan Region in the
areas of industry, agriculture, and tourism.
Qubad Talabani requested that the Mayor of Thessaloniki encourage Thessaloniki
and Greek investors to invest in the Kurdistan Region and emphasized the
Kurdistan Region's readiness to offer all kinds of facilities in this regard.
Presidents and other high-ranking officials attend the annual Delphi Economic
Forum, one of the most significant economic gatherings in Europe, to share and
discuss ways to resolve global economic and political issues. It is Qubad Talabani's second time attending
the conference.
