Bafel Talabani: Our language is our identity and we must protect it

On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, Bafel Talabani addressed a congratulatory message to the people and all nationalities in Kurdistan Region.

Bafel Talabani's message said:

On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, I warmly congratulate the people of Kurdistan and all nationalities in the Kurdistan Region.

Our language is our identity, and we must protect it. The destruction of our language means the destruction of our nation, a nation that has struggled throughout history and sacrificed for freedom and independence.

It is the duty of all of us, to Develop and expand the limits of their use. Our existence as human being who has an identity and a nation is related to protecting our language and all efforts for Kurdistan and its right, without protecting our mother language It will be inefficacy.
