Bafel Jalal Talabani's aid arrives in Raparin University

A new batch of Bafel Jalal Talabani's aids have arrived for students of Raparin University.

In an interview with Kurdsat News Channel, Bakhtiar Salih, the supervisor of the dormitories of Raparin University, said that the aids of Bafel Jalal Talabani included basic requirements for students of the dormitories.

"The aids were also for the dormitories of Rania and Qaladze," he added.

On December 6, 2021, Bafel Jalal Talabani had met with representatives of all universities and institutes within the borders of the governorates of Slemani, Kirkuk, Halabja, and other universities and institutes of the Kurdistan Region.

The meeting, which lasted for 12 hours, discussed supporting the demands of university and institute students and addressing their problems.

The aids of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan reached all the dormitories in Halabja, Dukan, Slemani, Qaladze, Kalar, and others.

On February 3, 2022, the Kurdistan Regional Government decided to disburse monthly allowances to all university and institute students.

According to the Ministry of Finance's statement, "The Council of Ministers agreed to disburse the allowances of university and institute students, by granting 40,000 dinars per month to students inside cities and 60,000 dinars to students outside the cities."

"The allowances are disbursed from the budget of universities and institutes from January 1, 2022, for the academic year 2021-2022," the ministry added.
