Final Iraqi Elections Results: PUK Secures 18 Parliamentary Seats

Iraq's Independent High Electoral Commission announced on Monday, 17 November 2025, the final results of the Iraqi parliamentary elections, where the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) achieved notable success, winning 18 seats across five governorates.
In Baghdad, PUK candidate Ayat Adham al-Suramiri, running on the Reconstruction and Development list, secured a seat with 4,807 votes.
In Kirkuk, the PUK list topped all contenders with 178,845 votes, winning four seats. PUK list leader in Kirkuk, Ribwar Taha, received 96,680 votes, the highest number recorded by any winning candidate nationwide.
In Sulaymaniyah, the PUK secured eight seats with 241,143 votes.
In Erbil Governorate, the PUK won three seats, receiving 97,411 votes.
In Nineveh Governorate, the PUK obtained two seats as part of the Itihad Ahl Nainawa [Nineveh People’s Union] coalition, with 56,420 votes.

4. Ramyar Haider Saeed – 15,319 votes
5. Asos Ali Ahmed – 10,063 votes
6. Pola Marouf Ali – 8,906 votes
7. Bryar Rashid Sharif – 8,842 votes
8. Srwa Mohammed Rashid – 6,940 votes
Kirkuk Governorate
Total votes: 178,845 — 4 seats
1. Rebwar Taha Mustafa – 96,068 votes
2. Brako Sherko Fateh – 11,033 votes
3. Mazen Gharib Abdulrahman – 10,033 votes
4. Dylan Ghafour Saleh – 6,865 votes
Nineveh Governorate
Total votes: 56,420 — 2 seats
1. Ahlam Ramadan Fattah – 5,973 votes
