Congratulatory Messages to PUK on Holding 5th Congress

Several congratulatory messages have been sent to the President and to all members and supporters of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) on the occasion of holding the 5th Congress. 

The congratulatory messages:

Nuri Al-Maliki, the Secretary General of the Islamic Dawa Party, stated: "Holding the PUK's 5th congress has significant importance as it serves as a fundamental element of the political process in Iraq and stands as one of the key contributors to the establishment of a new political age," adding: "The PUK has made significant sacrifices in its efforts to bring an end to the dictatorship. Additionally, they have acknowledged the exceptional contributions of President Mam Jalal and his profound political ideology."

In his message of congratulations, Maliki expressed his pride in the political and historical connections he shares with the PUK. Additionally, he reaffirmed his commitment to cultivating and sustaining these relationships to achieve shared goals and promote prosperity among all populations. 

Abdulsada Al-Freji, Secretary General of Iraq's National Nahj Alliance, said: "We are honored to extend our warm congratulations on the occasion of holding the PUK's 5th Congress."

Al-Freji congratulated Bafel Jalal Talabani and hoped that the 5th Congress would be an opportunity to discuss key issues that would contribute to a better future for the Iraqi people. 

Adham Barzani said: "To my esteemed brother, Mr. Bafel Jalal Talabani, and all the dedicated individuals comprising the cadres, members, and supporters of the PUK. I would like to express my utmost congratulations to you, as well as to all the cadres and supporters of the PUK, on the auspicious occasion of convening the 5th Congress. I hope this congress catalyzes enhanced collaboration and the realization of the objectives and aspirations of the Kurdish populace."

Barzani said that the party's policy renewal presents a valuable occasion to foster unity among the Kurds and enhance Kurdistan's standing domestically and internationally.

He added: "The PUK holds significant influence within the political sphere, both domestically and within Iraq and the region. Therefore, holding a congress in its current form would have a significant impact and possibly end the people's impasse.
 
Rashid Al-Azzawi, General Secretary of the Iraqi Islamic Party, said: "PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani, I congratulate you, the PUK, its leadership, cadres, and people on the occasion of holding the PUK's 5th Congress and your election as the PUK president. I wish you continued success and further contributions to the tasks of the national party and the party route established by the late President Jalal Talabani, which you are now carrying on with great desire and talent."
 
The Political Bureau of the Kurdish Democratic Progressive Party in Syria said: "We are sure that the congress will end with important decisions and strongly put the national struggle at the service of the Kurdish people.

In another part of the message, the Political Bureau of the Kurdish Progressive Party in Syria emphasized the role of the PUK President in uniting the parties to face the challenges and threats that threaten the achievements of our people.
