Iraq announces 1,949 new cases of Covid-19, 4 death case

The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed 1,949 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, raising the total number to 2,429,833 in the country.

The ministry also said that 4 death case was confirmed from the virus during the day, bringing the death toll to 25,290.

2,665 patients recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 2,369,125 in Iraq, the ministry added.

The new cases were recorded after 6,385 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours.

The ministry also said that the total number of citizens who received the coronavirus vaccine has reached 10,956,184 citizens.
