Iraq announces 88 new cases of Covid-19, 1 death

The Iraqi Ministry of Health confirmed 88 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, raising the total number to 2,328,670 in the country.

The ministry also said that one death case was confirmed from the virus during the day, bringing the death toll to 25,221.

100 patients recovered from the disease bringing the total recovery cases to 2,302,422 in Iraq, the ministry added.

The new cases were recorded after 3,462 suspected cases were tested across Iraq during the past 24 hours.

The ministry also said that the total number of citizens who received the coronavirus vaccine has reached 10,713,662 citizens.
