PUK's Political Bureau commemorates 34th anniversary of Halabja massacre

On Wednesday, the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan commemorated the 34th anniversary of the Halabja tragedy in Slemani Governorate.

The ceremony was held in the presence of Ms. Shanaz Ibrahim Ahmed, the executor of the PUK's politburo, Head of the PUK's Organization Center 1 of Slemani, and a number of officials and leadership council members  of the PUK. 

The ceremonies began with taking down the flags of Kurdistan and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, and later several speeches were presented referring to the tragedies suffered by the people of the Halabja, while the ceremony ended with the release of 34 white doves as a sign of the innocence of the victims of the tragedy.
