KTU holds ceremony to honor thirty teachers

The family of the late teacher Nuri Ali Ameen in cooperation with the Kurdistan Teachers Union (KTU) held a ceremony to honor 30 teachers of the Kurdistan Region.

Nuri Ali Ameen, one of the most famous teachers in Kurdistan and Iraq, who owns over 20 educational books and participated in drafting education programs, particularly for primary schools, has also published a large number of educational articles in the newspapers،

The family of the late teacher Nuri Ali Ameen with the help of the Slemani Branch of the KTU organized a ceremony to respect and honor the thirty teachers who have played a vital role in education, literature, culture, history, and writing. 

The majority of these teachers have written several useful books and research in the field of life, culture, climate, environment, and other fields which our society needs. 

During the crremony, the KTU delivered a speech in which the role of the late teacher Nuri Ali Ameen was focused on. 

The speech also spoke highly of the thirty teachers and mentioned that the development of every society depends on a good education because the process of education is a very crucial and significant source to save the environment. 

It also pointed out that education also the best way to withstand the negative effect of climate change. It provides a good environment for gender equality in society as well. For this purpose, teachers must generally be respected especially those teachers who have spent their age or life on writing and researching to improve the education of their country’s individuals and to provide a bright future for their country and generation. 

The speech also called on government officials to do their best to improve the process of education in a modern way to have changes in the programs of teaching and education so that they will be able to have a good link with the market of work. 

The government was also asked to build modern facilities and schools and the teachers must be provided with the best life and their educational standards must be boosted with opening training centers for them to be familiar with the new methods of teaching by using technology. 

At the end of the speech, gratitude was extended to the family of the late teacher Nuri Ali Ameen and the Slemani Branch of the KTU for organizing the ceremony and also called for holding more of these kinds of activities in the future. 

Following that, a speech was delivered by the daughter of the late teacher in which the family of the late teacher announced that they always had great respect for all teachers because their father was a teacher.

They also asked the government of Kurdistan to respect teachers, especially the ones who have invented, written, researched, and been at their country's service. In the end, the thirty teachers were respected, and the party was ended.
