Commemoration of Erbil Uprising

On Friday, ceremonies were held in the Kurdistan Region's capital Erbil to celebrate the 31st anniversary of the uprising of the people of the governorate against the fallen Iraqi Ba'ath regime.

The ceremony took place in the presence of Derbaz Kosrat Rasul, an excutive member at the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), and some members of the Political Bureau in Erbil, at the February 1 Martyrs' Hall of the PUK's Erbil Organizations Center.
