PUK’s Darbaz Kosrat Rasul and Dutch Consul General Stress Protecting the Status of the Kurdistan Region

Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, a member of the Political Bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Adriaan IJsselstein, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Erbil.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the situation in the region, recent developments, as well as rising tensions and concerns. Both sides agreed that dialogue and non-violence remain the best means of resolving regional issues.

They also stressed the importance of solidarity and unity among political parties in this difficult period, emphasising that protecting the status of the Kurdistan Region remains a top priority.
