President Bafel Raises Concerns Over West Kurdistan and Syria, Urges Protection of Kurdish Rights

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Andrew Bizley, the British Consul General in the Kurdistan Region.

In a meeting attended by Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, Head of the Relations Bureau, the discussions focused on the overall situation in the Kurdistan Region, developments in Iraq, and recent events in West Kurdistan and Syria.

During the meeting, President Bafel said that, based on the balance that has been achieved, the intention is to form a government that can better serve our beloved people.

He also highlighted concerns regarding the situation in West Kurdistan and Syria, urging the protection of Kurdish rights and sharing these concerns with the British Consul General.
