Sulaymaniyah Kurdistan Region

A ceremony was held in Sulaymaniyah on Saturday, 17 January 2026, to honour the martyrs of Rojava (North and East Syria), particularly those from Ashrafieh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighbourhoods of Aleppo, Syria.

The event was attended by officials  of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), as well as a large number of government officials, party representatives and members of the public.
