PUK President, Iraqi PM Stress Importance of Adhering to Constitutional Timelines

PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani's meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani in Baghdad.

The meeting was also attended by Rifaat Abdullah, Vice President of the PUK; Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, a member of the PUK Political Bureau; and Dr Khalid Shwani, Iraq’s Minister of Justice. Discussions focused on the latest domestic and regional political developments.

Both sides stressed the importance of adhering to constitutional timelines in order to form a strong government capable of delivering services to citizens.
