PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani's meeting with Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National Wisdom Movement.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with Ammar al-Hakim, head of the National Wisdom Movement, in Baghdad.

The meeting was attended by Rifaat Abdullah, Vice President of the PUK; Darbaz Kosrat Rasul, a member of the PUK Political Bureau; and Khalid Shwani, Iraq’s Minister of Justice. Discussions centred on the steps required to form the new Iraqi government, with both sides underscoring the importance of completing legal and constitutional procedures within the designated timeframe.

President Bafel stressed the need to continue national dialogue among political parties. 

“The PUK is working in accordance with President Mam Jalal’s strategy to reinforce the spirit of cooperation and harmony and to deliver better services to our dear citizens,” he said.
