PUK President Congratulates Adnan Faihan

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), has sent a congratulatory message to Adnan Faihan on the occasion of his election as First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi parliament. 

The PUK President's congratulatory message reads:

Mr Adnan Faihan,
First Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives,

On the occasion of your election and your gaining the confidence of the majority of members of the Council of Representatives, I extend to you my warmest congratulations. I hope that, through this important responsibility, you will be able to serve our people and our country with a spirit of cooperation and patriotism.

At the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, we are keen to cooperate and contribute to strengthening the spirit of brotherhood and joint action in order to serve citizens, reinforce the legislative authority and uphold the Constitution, thereby overcoming challenges and preserving stability in the country.
