PUK President: Fulfilling the Promises Made to the Public Remains Our Priority

PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani's meeting with the winning PUK candidates.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with the party’s winning candidates for the Iraqi Parliament.

The meeting was attended by Nizar Amedi, Sheikh Ahmed Hama Karim and Rizgar Haji Hama, members of the PUK Political Bureau. Discussions focused on the PUK’s strategy and political agenda in Baghdad during the next parliamentary term.

President Bafel emphasised that fulfilling the promises made to the public remains their top priority. He stressed that PUK representatives must be guardians of the demands and rights of citizens.

He further urged the newly elected representatives to follow the path of the late President Mam Jalal in Baghdad, calling on them to make every effort to improve the living conditions and overall welfare of the people.
