PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani's meeting with

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with Muthanna al-Samarrai, President of the Azem Alliance, in Baghdad.

The meeting was attended by Nizar Amedi, a member of the PUK Political Bureau, and Iraqi Minister of Justice Dr Khalid Shwani. They reaffirmed the need to accelerate the steps to form the Iraqi government.

President Bafel emphasised that the PUK has entered the negotiations with a clear vision aimed at serving citizens across Iraq and addressing outstanding issues between the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
