PUK President Bafel Jalal Talabani's meeting with

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), met with Nouri al-Maliki, President of the State of Law Coalition, in Baghdad.

The meeting was attended by Nizar Amedi, a member of the PUK Political Bureau, and Iraqi Minister of Justice Khalid Shwani. Discussions focused on relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Iraqi government, as well as efforts to form the next Iraqi government.

Both sides stressed the importance of continued dialogue to establish a strong and service-oriented government in Iraq.
