PUK President Celebrates Kurdistan Flag Day, Honours Martyrs and Calls for Unity

On Kurdistan Flag Day, Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), honoured the enduring symbol of Kurdish identity, paying tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the flag and calling on all Kurds to unite in building a brighter future.

The following is PUK President's statement:

Our flag is our identity, the symbol of endurance, sacrifice, and dignity. We safeguard it with our very spirit.

Today, with reverence, we commemorate all our martyrs who gave their lives for the honor and glory of our flag.

On Kurdistan Flag Day, I remind everyone that we must embrace our differences and work together to build a brighter future for our beloved people.
