Deputy Prime Minister’s Delegation Assesses Flood Damage in Taqtaq

Qubad Talabani’s respresentatives visit Taqtaq.

Following a decision by Qubad Talabani, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, a special delegation visited Taqtaq district in Erbil Governorate to assess the extent of the damage caused by the recent rains and floods.

During the visit, the delegation — representing the Deputy Prime Minister and coordinating with the district’s administration — reviewed the damage resulting from the recent rains and floods, particularly to agricultural lands, fish farms and tourist sites.

The delegation affirmed the Deputy Prime Minister’s support for those affected by the rains and floods and carried out an assessment of the damage in the area.
