Deputy PM Qubad Talabani visits Chamchamal.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Qubad Talabani, accompanied by Ramak Ramazan, Mayor of Chamchamal district, visited residents affected by recent floods in the area today.

According to information gathered by PUKMEDIA, the visit aims to closely assess the damage caused by the floods and to meet with local administrative officials to determine the necessary measures to compensate the victims.

In addition to overseeing relief efforts, Talabani is also attending the funerals of those who lost their lives during the floods.

Atta Mohammed, Head of Qubad Talabani’s Sulaymaniyah Office, confirmed that a committee will be established to address the issues and shortcomings identified during the visit and to ensure fair compensation for the affected residents.

The Deputy Prime Minister’s visit highlights his commitment to supporting flood victims and coordinating rapid relief and recovery measures in the region.
