PUK President Offers Condolences Following Flood Tragedy in Kurdistan

PUK President, Bafel Jalal Talabani.
Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), has offered his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the floods, noting that he has directed all PUK institutions to work closely with citizens and the relevant authorities.
In a statement issued by President Bafel Jalal Talabani, he said:
I extend my heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy to the families of the victims of the floods in Chamchamal District, Kirkuk Governorate, and other areas across Kurdistan. I also wish the injured a swift and full recovery.
Within the PUK, we have instructed all of our institutions to support the people of the Kurdistan Region and the administrative bodies, and to offer every possible form of assistance.
We express our gratitude and appreciation to the Civil Defence teams and security forces for the help they have provided to our dear citizens.
