Shalaw Kosrat Rasul welcomed Kate Shaw, Deputy Consul General of the United Kingdom in the Kurdistan Region, and her delegation in Sulaymaniyah on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

The meeting deliberated on the situation in Kurdistan and the relations between the Kurdistan Region and Baghdad, as well as the matter of salaries and the resolution of disputes between the Kurdistan Region and the Iraqi government. Both parties engaged in a thorough discussion of these matters and voiced their respective viewpoints.

Regarding the upcoming parliamentary elections in the Kurdistan Region, Shalaw Kosrat Rasul stated that the PUK is fully prepared and eager to participate and that their primary objective is for the people of Kurdistan to democratically elect their genuine representatives.
