Iraq ranked 6th in list of countries with Highest GDP Growth 2022: Global Finance

Iraq recorded a growth in the Gross domestic product (GDP) for the year 2022 to rank first in the Arab world and ranked sixth globally, according to the American Global Finance magazine.
According to the magazine, the GDP growth in Iraq reached 9.5%, which is higher than the 5.9% last year and 2020 in which the GDP decreased to -15.7%. Hence, the growth rate increased by 2.1% during the past five years.
Iraq recorded the highest GDP growth among countries in the Arab world, followed by Kuwait, then Saudi Arabia third, Egypt fourth, and Oman fifth.
Globally, according to the report, Iraq came sixth out of 197 countries listed in the table.
