Kosrat Rasul: Supporting teachers is a national duty

Mr. Kosrat Rasul Ali, the head of the Supreme Political and Interest Council of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), congratulated the Kurdistan Teachers Union on the occasion of its founding anniversary.

Mr. Ali's congratulatory message said:
 
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Teachers Union, I congratulate you and all teachers in Kurdistan and take it an opportunity to reiterate that you are holders of a sacred message and supporting you is a national duty.

During the past 60 years, the Kurdistan Teachers Union as a professional organization had an important role. In the mountain struggle and alongside the Peshmerga heroes, the teachers raised our nation's daughters and sons in the liberated areas and did not let the educational process stop. And after the uprising as well, until now, and despite the difficulties and crises, teachers have worked with limitless tolerance and continued to deliver the message of science and education, generation after generation.

Once again, I congratulate you on the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Teachers Union.
