The 14th Al-Wasiti Fine Arts Festival kicks off in Baghdad

Iraq's Minister of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Hassan Nadhim, inaugurated the 14th Al-Wasiti Fine Arts Festival on Monday at the halls of the General Arts Department at the Ministry’s headquarters in Baghdad.
The festival includes displaying artworks (drawing, Sculpture, Pottery, Calligraphy). Many of the most prominent Iraqi artists participated in the festival.
The festival is considered the largest art event in Iraq in terms of the number and level of participating works.
76 Paintings, 36 sculptural works, 6 ceramic works, and 36 calligraphy paintings, in addition to the artworks by Iraqi expat artists.
