US Consul General participate in commemorating 34th anniversary of Halabja massacre

US Consul General Robert Palladino, participated in a wreath laying at the Halabja Cemetery in commemoration of the victims of the 1988 Halabja chemical attack. 

"The U.S. Government joins today with the families of all those who suffered in honoring the memory of those that were lost, and expressing our solidarity with the brave survivors," he added

"Together, we are committed to ensuring that terrible atrocities like what happened in Halabja 34 years ago never happen again."
