International Women's Day: Peshmerga women reaffirm their promises

With the commemoration of International Women's Day, which takes place annually on March 8, international coalition forces against ISIS in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, through their advisory team, pay special attention to women's military units in the Kurdistan Region.

In coalition forces visiting the 2 of the women units in Erbil and Sulaimaniyah, apart from being aware of the level and capabilities of Peshmerga women, the same participation in the Peshmerga line for women is important and necessary, as they participated alongside men in the past.

On the same occasion, the team of coalition advisers in the Kurdistan Region congratulated the women's of Peshmarga and hoped for success in their works.
