PUK's Salar Mahmoud Holds High-Level Meetings at European Parliament on Kurdish Issue

Salar Mahmoud, Head of the Foreign Relations Central Board of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), together with a number of PUK members, paid a visit to the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium.

During the visit, he held meetings with Giuseppe Famà, Head of the Arab States and Iraq Department at the European Union, along with his deputy, Jaak Madison, a Member of the European Parliament; Thierry Mariani, an MEP and former French Minister of Transport; and Elaine Samin, a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Belgian Parliament.

The discussions centred on the Kurdish question and Kurdistan, expressions of support for the legitimate cause of the Kurdish people and the sacrifices they have made, as well as the situation of the Kurdish diaspora.
