Fifth Slemani International Festival launched with the participation of 145 films

The Fifth Slemani International Festival began, and several great artists and directors from different countries attended. 

On the first day, Kurdish songs and dances were shown, in addition to the screening of the "Mali Dalia" movie.

Shahen Sabir, Media Director, told PUKmedia, "The activities of the Fifth International Festival began in Slemani under the title "Earth Cancer" this evening, in the presence of more than 150 artists, directors, and film critics, from  35 countries, showing 145 short, long and narrative films. for a week."

Director Hawraz Muhammad, one of the festival's participating directors, told PUKmedia, "I participated in the festival with a short film entitled "S2102" directed by Khabir Rafiq and Arif Tayfur is the screenwriter."

The festival was organized by the International Film Company sponsored by the KRG, and there will be 18 prizes to be distributed to the winning films in the festival.
