Huda and Sama, two graduates from the Faculty of Agriculture in Halabja Governorate, decided to establish a project to make natural sweets from fruits inlaid with almonds and walnuts.
Sama Omar, the owner of the idea, told PUKmedia: "We graduated last year and did not wait for employment, so we came up with the idea of establishing our own business, and we decided to build a small factory to make natural sweets from the fruits that our city is famous for, especially in the Biara district, which is considered one of the tourist areas."
She said that their project started three months ago and their factory is called "Wazy Factory" for natural sweets.
"Customers are satisfied with our products, and it's distinguished from other sweets because it contains natural preservatives, which are healthy and do not negatively affect humans," Omar added.
