PUK VP Reaffirms PUK Support for Civil Society Organisations

Rifaat Abdullah, Vice President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Rezan Jamil, President of the Kurdistan Geological Society, along with members of the Society’s Senior Board.

During the meeting, VP Abdullah reaffirmed the PUK’s support for the activities and civil initiatives of organisations and professional associations across Kurdistan.

“The PUK is a strong supporter of the civil struggle and democratic activities of organisations and associations,” he said.

The Vice President commended the efforts and achievements of the Kurdistan Geological Society and expressed his hope that the organisation would continue to make progress and successfully implement its programmes and future initiatives.

VP Abdullah also stressed that the PUK supports the independence of syndicates, associations and civil society organisations.
