Two Missiles, Three Drones Target Surdash Camp, Says Kurdistan Asayish

The Kurdistan Region Security (Asayish) Agency has released statistics regarding the attacks that occurred over the past 24 hours, noting that a refugee camp in Surdash was targeted with two missiles and three drones.

The Asayish stated that the attack took place at 22:05 on the night of 18 May 2026. Regarding the damage caused by the strike, it clarified that there were no casualties.

This comes at a time when, following the outbreak of the war between the US/Israel and Iran, the Kurdistan Region has faced 809 drone and missile attacks between 28 February 2026 and 20 April 2026. These incidents resulted in the deaths of 20 civilians and left 123 others injured.
