Iraqi President Nizar Amedi received congratulatory messages from Romanian President Nicușor Dan and Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia Sam Mostyn.

Romanian President Nicușor Dan has congratulated Iraqi President Nizar Amedi on assuming office, expressing his country’s interest in strengthening bilateral relations and broadening cooperation with Iraq.

In a message addressed to President Amedi, President Dan conveyed his warmest congratulations and wished him success in carrying out his responsibilities.

He also extended his best wishes to the Iraqi people for continued prosperity and progress.

The Romanian president reaffirmed Bucharest’s desire to deepen ties with Baghdad and expand joint cooperation across areas of mutual interest, underscoring the friendly relations between the two countries.

President Amedi also received a congratulatory message from Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia Sam Mostyn, on the occasion of assuming the presidency.

Dr Mostyn conveyed her congratulations and best wishes to the President, reaffirming Australia’s strong interest in its relations with Iraq and expressing her aspiration to further strengthen ties between the two countries and their peoples.
