Asayish Report Multiple Drone Attacks With No Casualties

Kurdistan Region Iran Iraq Drone Attacks

The Kurdistan Region Security Agency (Asayish) have reported several drone attacks over the past 48 hours, none of which resulted in casualties.

According to an Asayish statement obtained by PUKMEDIA, the incidents on Friday, 3 April 2026 included a drone strike at 15:45, followed by seven additional attacks between 18:00 and 19:00 targeting the IDP camp in Koya town, Erbil.

The Asayish statement also provided that on Saturday, 4 April 2026, two drone strikes were reported at 02:58 and 03:23 targeting the headquarters of the 70 Forces Command in Sulaymaniyah, adding that two attacks occurred at 19:15 and 19:20 on the Koya IDP camp, while another drone strike at 20:39 targeted the village of Sheikh Waisawa near Sulaymaniyah.

The statement confirmed that no casualties were reported as a result of the attacks.

Amid the continuing regional conflict, multiple areas across the Kurdistan Region have come under repeated drone attacks. 

According to the Community Peacemaker Teams (CPT) – Iraqi Kurdistan, more than 470 attacks have targeted the Kurdistan Region since the beginning of the Iran war on 28 February.

The organisation also reports that 14 people have been killed (martyred) and over 90 others injured as a result of the ongoing strikes.
