Bafel Jalal Talabani Reaffirms Support for Rojava in Meeting with Mazloum Abdi

PUK President welcomes General Mazloum Abdi.

Bafel Jalal Talabani, President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), received Mazloum Abdi, Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), in Dabashan, Sulaymaniyah.

The meeting, attended by Qubad Talabani, a member of the PUK Political Bureau, addressed the situation in Syria and Rojava.

General Abdi spoke about his participation in the Munich Security Conference and outlined the latest developments in Syria.

He also expressed his appreciation for the PUK’s stance and support in the fight against terrorism.

President Talabani stated: “We will continue to stand by Rojava until Syria becomes a country in which all citizens enjoy their rights and representation, and where the government reflects the diversity of Syrian society.”
