Iranian Military Crashes Near Isfahan

Iran’s state television reported on Tuesday that a military training helicopter crashed near the city of Isfahan.

According to the broadcaster, the crash resulted in multiple fatalities, including the pilot, and was caused by a technical malfunction.

The head of crisis management in Isfahan province said the helicopter, belonging to the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, went down while flying over agricultural fields in the Darcheh area earlier in the day.

He confirmed that the pilot, co-pilot, and two additional crew members were killed in the incident. Authorities said the crash was attributed to a technical failure.
